Standard desk models from our catalogue ship within 5-7 working days. Custom configurations with specific dimensions or colour choices require 3-4 weeks from order confirmation. Large corporate orders exceeding 50 units typically need 6-8 weeks for completion.

We provide detailed production schedules after order placement. Rush orders can be accommodated with a 15% surcharge, reducing lead time to 2 weeks for custom pieces. Delivery to London addresses takes 1-2 days, while shipments to other UK regions require 3-5 days depending on location.

Yes, we manufacture both manual and electric height-adjustable desks. Our electric models use dual-motor systems from German manufacturer Logicdata, with height range from 65cm to 130cm. They support loads up to 80kg and include memory presets for 4 positions. Manual versions use a crank mechanism with the same height range but lower cost.

Electric desks come with 5-year motor warranty and anti-collision sensors. We also produce fixed-height desks in standard 72cm or 75cm heights. All adjustable models can be customised with desktop sizes from 120cm to 200cm width and 60cm to 90cm depth.

All desks include a 3-year warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. This covers structural failures, finish defects, and hardware malfunctions under normal office use. Electric components on adjustable desks have separate 5-year coverage from the component manufacturer.

The warranty excludes damage from improper assembly, excessive weight loads, or modifications. We offer optional extended warranty plans: 5-year comprehensive coverage for £89 or 7-year coverage for £149 per desk. Claims are processed within 48 hours, with replacement parts shipped within 5 working days.

We specialise in custom sizing for offices with unique space requirements. Desktop dimensions can be specified in 1cm increments, with width from 100cm to 240cm and depth from 50cm to 100cm. Height can be fixed at any measurement between 65cm and 80cm, or adjustable within our standard range.

Custom dimensions incur no additional charge for orders of 10 units or more. Single custom desks have a £75 setup fee. We provide CAD drawings for approval before production begins. Our facility can also accommodate unusual shapes including L-shaped, curved, or corner configurations with detailed technical specifications.

Standard models include a horizontal cable tray mounted beneath the desktop, measuring 120cm x 15cm with metal construction. We also offer integrated cable ports in 60mm or 80mm diameter, available in black, silver, or white finishes. These can be positioned anywhere on the desktop surface.

Advanced options include vertical cable spines attached to desk legs, modesty panels with built-in cable channels, and under-desk power modules with 4 UK sockets and 2 USB ports. For sit-stand desks, we provide cable management arms that move with the desktop. All cable solutions are specified during the ordering process at varying price points.

We offer three service levels: self-assembly with detailed instructions, white glove delivery with assembly, or full installation service. Self-assembly desks arrive flat-packed with all required tools and typically take 30-45 minutes to build. Assembly service costs £45 per desk for London locations, £65 elsewhere in the UK.

Full installation includes unpacking, assembly, positioning, cable management setup, and waste removal. This service is £95 per desk or £75 per unit for orders exceeding 20 desks. Our installation teams are available Monday to Friday between 8:00 and 17:00, with weekend slots at 25% premium. All installers are DBS-checked and insured.

Standard fixed-height desks support evenly distributed loads up to 100kg. This accommodates multiple monitors, computers, and office equipment safely. Our reinforced models with thicker 25mm tops and additional crossbars handle up to 150kg. Electric sit-stand desks are rated for 80kg in motion and 120kg when stationary.

Each desk undergoes load testing during production to verify capacity. We provide load rating certificates for insurance purposes upon request. Exceeding stated capacity voids warranty coverage. For specialised applications requiring higher capacity, we manufacture heavy-duty models with steel-reinforced tops supporting up to 200kg, available as custom orders.

Yes, we encourage sample orders for corporate clients planning purchases of 20 or more units. Sample desks are sold at standard retail price with free delivery to London addresses. If you proceed with a full order within 60 days, we credit 50% of the sample desk cost against your bulk purchase.

Alternatively, visit our showroom at 42 Elmfield Road, London N1 9BH to view 15 different desk configurations. Appointments are available Monday to Friday 9:00-18:00 and Saturday 10:00-14:00. We also provide material sample packs containing desktop finish swatches and frame colour chips, shipped free of charge within 3 working days of request.

Individual customers pay full amount upon ordering via bank transfer, credit card, or PayPal. Business customers with orders exceeding £5,000 can apply for credit terms. After credit approval, we offer Net 30 payment terms with no interest charges. Orders above £15,000 qualify for Net 60 terms.

We accept purchase orders from established companies and public sector organisations. A 50% deposit is required for custom orders, with balance due before shipment. Volume discounts apply: 5% off for 20-49 units, 10% off for 50-99 units, and 15% off for 100+ units. All prices exclude VAT at 20%, which is added to final invoices for UK customers.

Our Story

Zinepe began operations in 2008 when three furniture designers and a manufacturing engineer identified a gap in the London commercial furniture market. Businesses needed office desks that combined durability with ergonomic design, yet most suppliers offered either budget options with short lifespans or premium pieces with impractical lead times.

We established our first workshop in East London with four employees and a straightforward goal: produce office desks using solid materials and precise joinery techniques. Our initial client base consisted of twelve small businesses in Shoreditch and Camden. Within eighteen months, we expanded to a 3,000 square metre facility and employed twenty-three craftspeople.

Today, Zinepe operates from a modern production facility with sixty-seven staff members. We manufacture between 400 and 600 office desks monthly, serving clients across Greater London and the South East. Our product range includes height-adjustable desks, executive workstations, and modular desk systems.
